I went to Dr. Mobley for the first time on 8-7-15. My GYN doctor had moved out of state. It was a pleasant first experience. The problem came when the bill came. My insurance pays for a gyn checkup once a year without a copay. I only go to a gyn doctor to get a pap smear. I see other doctors for my other medical issues. I had not received a bill for my gyn checkups from other gyn doctors in the past. I was surprised to receive a bill for $25. First I called my insurance company who told me I was charged because of the way the visit was billed. Then I called Dr. Mobley's office and had a long and unproductive conversation with the billing clerk. According to the billing clerk, when Dr. Mobley mentioned some chronic medical problems that were listed on my medical history to me in a conversation, that constituted a visit for those issues. The billing clerk told me that I should have told them that I was only there for my annual checkup. I did tell them that when I first called. Needless to say I won't be back.

I went into the office not fully knowing anything about birth control or check ups.... But Dr.Mobley talked to me 1on1 about everything. My body , family , Everything ! Now I'm so comfortable with telling others information because I know what I'm talking about.... She is the ONLY doctor I trust for paps , birth control , other tests , and with my personal information. She is a great doctor , and her staff is wonderful as well !!
