If you want to invest in your son or daughters youth ice hockey aspiration, dont spend your time and money at Whaler Nation youth ice hockey program. Good summer program to develop speed and puck handling and two outstanding trainers. Great uniforms and Physical Therapy office was on site. Great goalie program. Pup atmosphere, not sport nor family oriented atmosphere. Team coaches were very negative and did not provide positive influence to the kids. Chilled pond has two ice rinks. One of them was not operational for the first six months of the season. Team coaches benched complete line to give more ice time to other lines. Perception was they gave more ice time to their own kids during the games. No team camaraderie. The coaches were screaming, cursing and out of control. In a couple of occasion; referees threaten to kick the coaches out of the game. Discuss with the Director; however, he didnt see an issue with it. I do not recommend.

Great sheet of ice. Facilities are nice. League scheduling needs help. Pro Shop is hardly ever open.
