Immigration police stopped me at the airport because I was out of status. I had overstayed and was about to marry and I knew I needed a good Immigration Lawyer but didn't know who to use. I asked my friends and one said he'd had a great experience with Mr. Cohen.



I made an appointment with his assistant who told me Mr. Cohen had over 30 years in Immigration Law... he explained he wasn't the cheapest lawyer around but do you really want that when your whole life is at stake? Mr. Cohen met with me and my wife for over an hour [he only charged us for a half hour, but said he doesn't like to rush people!].



Within 3 months I had my papers, my work authorization and my social security card. Now I'm just waiting until I'm eligible for Citizenship so Mr. Cohen can ease me through the miserable Immigration process! I can't speak highly enough of his office, his kind demeanor and that he really seems to care!

I picked him because of his 30+ YEARS EXPERIENCE and I'd heard he knew the Immigration Officers. I wanted to be approved for citizenship asap so I could sponsor my parents.



Everything went well. Mr. Cohen was everything I hope for and MORE. I was approved and we are now waiting for my parents to arrive. Mr. Cohen is the ONLY immigration lawyer I would ever use!

I was wrongly accused of shoplifting and M.R. Cohen, Esquire was able to save my a--.



I first tried a Public Defender who was too busy to listen to me. Worse, I don’t think he BELIEVED me. He told me to plead guilty even though I was innocent.



I’m a student and couldn’t have this on my record and get the job I’m studying for. Although I didn’t think I could afford someone with Mr. Cohen’s 30+ years experience and contacts, Mr. Cohen seemed to care more about what happened to me than his fee. He treated me more like a son than client. Mr. Cohen told me to fight the case!



Mr. Cohen happened to know the Prosecutor and was also able to persuade the police and the store to drop the charges! God Bless you Mr. Cohen!

This is a truly great attorney. I was innocent of shoplifting even though another attorney told me to plead guilty. I think the other attorney was just lazy. Mr. Cohen seemed to care more about me than his fee. He told me to fight the case and he got the charges dropped! I guess it was lucky Mr. Cohen knew the prosecutor. He also spoke to the police officer. Thank you Mr. Cohen!

When I suggest someone come in for a consultation, it is because their case is so complex it would be a disservice to advise them without having all the facts.

I simply called to just ask a question or two so that I can make sure I am making the right decision with a lawyer. I got my name out and what type of legal help I needed, then he continued to tell me that he doesn't anwser questions on the phone only if I come in for a consultation. I told him that I have two questions. I asked the first question which was if the fees by the government would be included in the total price or if that was seperate. He then procecceded to tell me that if I'm concerned about money that means I'm not serious and told me he's not out to make lots of money and to just come in and have a $100 consultation with him. Kind of contradicted himself there??? Would not recommend him, very arrogant and is only out for your money. Hope this helps.
