The food is excellent and the river scenery with the huge pines draping the front lawn is gorgeous. The only thing I would suggest is that they put in air conditioning for the really hot evenings. They think it is cooler by the water, but the huge pines sort of blocks any breeze that may be available. I go there every year, the steaks and lobster and prime rib are great. They cut the prime rib right in front of you.

This place has great food, much classier than it looks from the outside

This is a step back into the 70's...which is not a good thing. The menu is over priced for the quality of the food ($12.95 for 4 shrimp on a kids menu!!!) and much higher priced than the better quality dining options within a 15 minute radius. The dining room is run down and needs to upgrade the vinyl chair covers and the horrible wall treatments. Service was OK...but with only 6 people in the dining room, how slow could it really be?
