We have had this company ell for us and we have bought from them. Our experience from both sides were very good. Would highly recommend to anyone in need of liquidating and estate. Pricing was fair and up to date for the current market.

We were downsizing and used C & C to sell items we no longer could use. Some of the items they took were bedside table, mahogany bench with custom-made pad, mahogany cedar chest, mahogany TV cabinet and stand, armoire, mahogany China cabinet, antique rocker, and miscellaneous records. The check we received was less than $200. I too was told that if I wanted a list of items sold, and the amount they sold for, it would cost me $75. We were also asked not to attend the sale so as not to intimidate the customers. We were absolutely ripped off. Would never recommend this company.

I used this company for the estate sale of my 10 room house. We sold everything, antiques, crystal, china, bedroom sets, a complete house. We were told they would research and get the best price possible. We netted $1690. for everything in the house. Some of the antiques had a low value of $250 to a high value of $600. Everything was in either very good or perfect shape. We were told that we would get a listing of big items sold and the price received but if we wanted a listing of the smaller items we would be charged for that. Because their contract was given to us at the last minute we rushed through the signing. A signature required was regarding the list. We signed that we didn't want one thinking it meant the small items. When we received our small check we asked about the list. We were told that we signed stating we didn't want one and if we wanted one it would cost us $75/day.



I don't believe this was an estate sale; I believe it actually was a liquidation sale at garage sale prices. I regret using these people and now, of course, wish I had gone with a more professional group. The commission is the same for all of them. The advantage to C&C is that they come and take the items to their place of business. It truly was a mistake.



I would never recommend this company to anyone.
