Ben Franklin Plumbing is a name, not a legacy. From faulty fixtures that needed to be replaced 3 times, fixed 3, to leaving me and my family without water for a month, to the lack of workmanship ruining my floors and cabinet because of a leak caused by their work(which I had to pay the outcall fee for service). The "Plumber" who installed it to begin with was not a trained, certified or bonded plumber, he was a Sales Manager. I fixed the damage on from their work once, the garbage they installed ruined it again, they refused to honor any warranty or guarantee that they pledge behind the name. I sent them receipts, pictures, they even admitted liability, they refused to do anything to help, they sent a sketch Insurance company to validate the poor work and equipment, who also denied the claim despite having proof and evidence to the contrary. So now I have to sue them, so for your own protection, your own sanity, save yourself a headache, spend your money with some honest, decent business instead of the unreliable, dishonest and thieving company of Superior Heating& Air doing business as Ben Franklin Plumbing in Charlottesville. The Service is nonexistent and they will take your money and run. Beware, you will regret doing any business with them.

Great experience from phone call to installation of my new water heater! The plumber explained everything to me with the install and was very professional and knowledgeable. I’m loving my new hot water heater, and happy to be rid of the rusty water and of the worrying of my old one bursting and flooding my basement. Thank you so very much, I am a very satisfied customer. The plumber Ben was awesome! He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained the job perfectly and then installed the water heater quickly and correctly. His professionalism was incredible. He made sure to protect our floors and there was zero mess upon completion! He is a stellar employee! A++ I will absolutely inform my neighbors of the quality of service I received!

Expensive, tries to sell you a new toilet when you don't need one, overcharged but did not fix our drain problem. Called a different plumber who immediately identified the problem as roots in the drain outside. Also, their $ or % off coupon is a joke.
