I'd like to reiterate what the other reviewers have already said. Albemarle County Firearms is great. I just don't shop at the Woodbrook anymore. I can go into Woodbrook and stand in front of the counter for two hours while they yap with somebody about their latest hunting experience before anybody will ever ask me what I'm looking for or if I needed assistance of any kind. ACF's quick and warm customer service has me won over, not to mention their competitive pricing, which is something else Woodbrook could take a hint on. Maybe they could lower their prices since it doesn't seem that they have anyone staffed to work the counter. They are saving money right?

I have been to Mike's shop a few times now and I can honestly say he has the best prices in the area and he does everything within his power to make sure that your experience in his shop is a happy one.Every time I walk in the door I am greeted by him and all of his staff and they are always very eager to help in any way possible. They even go as far as to pull firearms out for you to inspect even though you have already stated that you are not looking to buy "that firearm" at this time. The service is just unmatched.I used to go to Woodbrook and the experience there is a real roller coaster and usually on the downward slope. I have bought many firearms there and the experience is always the same. They seem like they couldn't care less if you buy or not or even if your happy. EVEN AS I HANDED THEM THOUSANDS IN CASH!!!! Only once did I ever receive "satisfactory" service and that was from Kenny himself.I no longer go there and Mike has my local business from now on.Thanks Mike

All the other 'established' shops in town could take a lesson from this scrappy newcomer. Mike and the crew at ACF have made it clear they are ready to earn my business and create a relationship for years to come. When all the other shops around seemed less than interested in helping with my 'insignificant' business, Mike was more than happy to take an opportunity to overwhelm me with his outstanding customer service and reasonable prices. I am a raving fan and look forward to working with ACF in the future.
