This place is awesome!! Kaitlyn and Gaby are the best! I definitely recommend getting the triple chocolate or Oreo!!!

Called today to get cupcakes delivered and they had them on my friends doorstep within an hour. Could not be more pleased with their customer service. The sweet woman that I spoke with even called me back to let me know exactly where she left the box since no one was home. Thank you so much!!

Only problem is trying to decide which of the many choices to indulge in. Every one I have tried is wonderful. Special nod to the red velvet cupcake. Also, the variety of cake pops is amazing, all wonderful

We had my daughter's fourth birthday party at SAS. It was a princess theme + a visit from Princess Ariel. She loved it. We had it on a Sunday, so it wasn't crowded with customers. It was a really cute party for my little princess and the kids enjoyed it!

Great cupcakes that look as good as they taste! My favorites are the red velvet and the chocolate chip. The $2 Tuesdays are a great deal for a quick sweet fix

Bought a dozen different cupcakes for my family . We had fun splitting them and trying all the favors. We were happy with all of them. We'll do it again!

What a wonderful little shop. I feel like I've walked into a sweet shop with a wide array of flavored cupcakes, cake pops, candy and even doggy treats. Tried their two newest cupcake flavors...Strawberry Champagne and Coconut Cream Pie. Both were scrumptious. I even like to have them fill their birthday wine glasses with cake pops. Makes a nice, inexpensive gift for my friends.

My FAVORITE cupcake place in Charlotte! I first found out about these cupcakes in 2011 when a friend had them at her bridal shower. I thought they were delicious then and still think so now. I'm a cake connoisseur and lover of all things sweet, so stop in to Sas.

Best cupcakes and variety in South Charlotte....awesome spot for an adult or kid to go pick from a great selection of sugary treats and cupcakes. Always moist, flavorful and reasonably priced.

The staff here is very welcoming and seem to work very well in a child heavy environment. I had the red velvet cupcake as well as the strawberries n' creme. Both were delicious! The cake was soft and moist and the buttercream was very flavorful. All in all I had good experience and recommend if you want to indulge in a gourmet desert .

Wow. We bought a dozen assorted cupcakes. There were no bad choices! We bought the box as we were having out of town family staying with us over the weekend. They were all delicious and everyone got a favorite flavor. We were told that since they were fresh we didn't need to refrigerate the cupcakes since we would be eating them within a couple of days & we were keeping them indoors in a cool environment (NC Mountains). The cupcakes stayed moist and delicious. We did keep them in the box they came in, so they were protected - we don't have any cats or large dogs to mess with it :-)

This is probably more of a 3 star place, but I'll give them a 4th star for consistency, which is so rare at bakeries usually. We've been here at least 10 times and afterwards I always have the same takeaway: it's good enough that I'll go back when convenient, but it's not the best ever. We are usually very happy with the plain flavors like chocolate with vanilla frosting. Those tend to be an excellent execution of a basic item. Some of the more adventurous flavors aren't that successful. And the fruit flavors, like the raspberry, taste too strongly of fake flavoring. I'd definitely recommend skipping that one!

I had the same experience as the other review...just awful! Cake was dry, frosting inedible.

Presentation is fabulous and website and store design made me really excited to try their cupcakes. I chose the white chocolate pretzel variety, thinking it would be as amazing as I had anticipated. The icing was too tall and stiff, it actually separated from the cupcake as I bit into it. This made me wonder if it was freshly baked or not. The consistancy of the icing was pasty and not creamy. The cake, which was a basic vanilla was extremely dense and smelled sour. My husband (who eats everything) refused to finish eating his which was strawberry flavored. Overall very disapointing.
