My wife Bindu and I started taking dance lesson at Planet Ballroom's Lake Wylie studio three years ago. We did our first showcase together in December 2011. It was called "Dancing in Winter Wonderland". That was the best night of our lives. We performed a Cha Cha. Our instructor Sonny choreographed our routine. He did not leave any stone unturned. We inivted our entire family to come watch us perform. It was a great experience. A year down the line, my wife decide to not dance anymore ( due to the fact that we wanted to start a family). However, I continued to dance and never looked back.



I started dacing with Gerri , who also happens to be my instrctor. Gerri is a professional dancer and comes with unique and inventive ideas/skills. Her routines are very intrique and very stylish. I have been dancing with Gerri for 2 1/2 years and I came a long way. If there is a step that I don't get or don't understand how it needs to be done, she will break it down into the lowest components which makes it very easy to understand ( not many instructors do that :) ). Gerri's " 3's a Charm" concept is the best. It allows us to do everything three times, before moving on to the next step. There isn't a room for me to mess up after dancing a step three times.



I would recommend everyone to give this a try. It truly is a " Life Changing Dance Experience through Inspiration, Engery and Glamour!!!"
