A resident of Miracle House of Hope was recently in my community soliciting donations for this organization. He was in a Walmart parking lot, without a permit, illegally asking for money for Miracle House of Hope in Charlotte. When I informed this man that I did not carry cash, he became abrupt and stalked off. When I called the number on the flyer he had given me to verify the organization for which he was collecting, the person who answered the phone was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Not only did he not identify himself or his organization when answering the line, he verbally accosted me when I asked him which number I had dialed. I have recently discovered that the director of this organization has been arrested numerous times for serious offenses, the most recent being less than a week ago for assault. Members of this organization were also arrested in February in a nearby community for soliciting donations without a permit and have been warned and arrested multiple times for this same offense.
