Went for a yearly visit had a cough (nothing serious). I asked Dr Pierce for a recommendation (over the counter meds) & she recommended Robitussin. Great! With a regular yearly check up they listen to your lungs, check your ears, etc. Left feeling pretty good about it as I usually did.

Later received a bill for an extra $117 (additional what was paid for the yearly) classified as "General Health Panel" (AKA -additional office visit). No additional testing done- & no prescription prescribed. Do our primary care physicians care so little about our health that they won't recommend a cough syrup of choice without it costing you $117? I could've bought an aisle of cough syrup at Walgreens OR OMG I could've googled a much less expensive opinion.

BEWARE-Apparently this is the type of office where you need to go to your general appointment and not ask any questions- they are clearly there to do the bare minimum required - any other questions will cost you an extra doctors visit charge.
