Dr. Josh Surowitz has dedicated his career to the practice of facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is dual board-certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Surowitz is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Education is top priority for Dr. Josh Surowitz. As an undergraduate at the University of Miami, he studied biomedical engineering. He continued his medical education at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, where he was bestowed the prestigious Heusner Pupil Award by his peers. He completed a five-year residency in Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was awarded the William Shockley Silver Owl award for excellence in teaching and the Mark C. Weissler Iron Man award for “going above and beyond.” Following residency, he was accepted into one of the top fellowships in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. He received extensive training in the full breadth of facial plastic surgery including facelift, rhinoplasty, hair transplantation, and minimally invasive surgical and non-surgical rejuvenation, injectables and laser treatments.
