I'd say stay away from Arboretum Dentistry because they are truly a bunch of ripoffs and engage in fraudulent business practices. I know someone who went there and got the usual exam and full range of xrays, and was informed he needed a root canal and crown on a tooth but other than that he was in real good shape. No other problems at all show up on the xrays. ONLY THING IS..........after he got the root canal and crown, he was told mysteriously that the tooth right beside that one now needed a root canal and crown, and oh, by the way, a piece of my tool broke off and couldnt be removed so you will have a piece of metal down in your root for the rest of your life. Sure am sorry though. ( But of course no damages will be paid for the wonderful dentist's carelessness ). So all of a sudden, perhaps business was slow or something, this dentist actually caused damage to the adjoining tooth to rip more money off from my friend. Couldnt admit that while doing the root canal on the one tooth that he caused damage to the root right beside it and it now needed attention.

SO BEWARE BEFORE YOU GO TO DR. BISHOP. He's just another greedy practioner who gives people the same impression you get from 95% of dentists or doctors. ALL WE CARE ABOUT IS YOUR MONEY AND HOW MUCH WE CAN GET OUT OF YOU. Pure pitiful is what I say. He should have been reported to the NC Dental Board but sadly they always back the dentist up and do nothing.

BOTTOM LINE........unless you are rich and have money to donate, pick another dental practice. ARBORETUM DENTISTRY IS A RIP OFF PRACTICE and won't hesitate to stretch the truth about so called problems to shake you down for money money money. The worship of the almighty dollar. But when you have a high dollar sports car and a wife 20 yrs younger than you who wouldnt give you the time of day unless you were wealthy and let her sit on her lazy hind all day, what can you expect.
