They do not keep appointments. A recruiter with this firm scheduled my time twice, the first time, giving 5 minutes notice by email that she would not be keeping the appointment and today, with no call and no show.

I'm pretty sure the staff is too heavy on the young, good looking, amibtious side and way too light on the knowledge, industry experience, and business savvy side. I'm pretty sure I was told that a job opening had been filled when it hadn't during my interview, probably because I'm over 55. I have ridiculous credentials and should be easy to sell, but believe the culture here, as in many marketing/PR and recruiting agencies, is terrified of us older pros....it's really weird. And incredibly stupid. Guess that our culture, but it's soooo tedious and destructive. Isn't it time they grew up and dealt with staffing on a business need and ROI basis, not age, personality, blahblahblah. Really tired of this BS. Sorry guys...you're cute and nice but imcompetent.
