The business owner engages in unethical business practices and hires poor quality subcontractors to complete the work. They have zero experience with showers or tile, and their organization and communication is abysmal. These issues together were unacceptable, resulted in significant delays, and caused me to lose a lot of time at work.

1) The entire payment was taken even though the deposit was supposed to be 50%. They refused to rectify and lied saying that this was their policy. This gave us less negotiating power regarding the installation problems
2) Shoddy tile work: Marble backsplash tiles were touching and the business owner lied again, saying that gravity causes natural variations in spacing. That is what spacers are for, I'm not an idiot, and 4 outside opinions confirmed. Several installed tiles were chipped, uneven, or carelessly cut
3) They only sent one person and there was never a supervisor to ensure quality standards. I took many hours from work to look up, read, and request that standard precautions were taken to ensure proper waterproofing
4) I THOUGHT they had experience with installing stone material but they subcontracted a tile installer with little stone experience. We had a "grout crisis" when the stone started to absorb the dark grout, so I had to take a day off of work to manage and scrub the stained stone
5) Poor communication: try explaining the job to 4 people different staff when the business owner is in China. No one had a full understanding of the plan despite me providing marked up photos indicating installation details
5) Quote/invoice: The invoice was impossible to read and this caused constant confusion about what was "included"
7) Timeline: the work took over three months and the tile subcontractor was completely unreliable, not showing up when agreed
8) Cleanliness and stains - they even poured concrete into my lawn

My experience with $39 Granite was fantastic. I didn't know much about buying countertops but Lina really helped me find just the right slab. My job wasn't the most expensive but she made me feel like a million bucks. My condo used to look quite drab but now I have the best one in the complex. Thank you Lina and $39 Granite.

I saw some reviews of $39 Granite that made me hesitate but after I talked to the owner, Lee, he calmed my nerves. My husband and I wanted our master bath remodeled. I originally only expected to get the countertops from $39 Granite but after talking to Lee he showed us how he could do it all and at a great price. We selected a beautiful white and gray marble for our shower and Lee showed us complimentary tile to make it just pop! Then he showed us cabinetry that was exactly what I had in mind. Though it took just a little longer than I expected but 1` week faster than I was quoted (I wanted it yesterday!) but the finished product is PERFECT! You can't go wrong with $39 Granite. Price and quality is just great.

I live in Indian Trail and initially went to this office expecting to be disappointed because other places were charging so much more for granite.. I was pleasantly surprised at the prices and choices in granite. I went to the warehouse and met Tom who was very straight forward and down to earth. The next day my husband and I went to the Charlotte office where Dori (sp) works and we saw many different samples in the showroom there. More than we saw at the Indian Trail office. At this point we changed our color choice so we had to go back to the warehouse and pick a slab. That is when we met Lee. He was the nicest guy and helped us tremendously!!!! It was a real pleasure talking with him. When I got home I had read some negative reviews which had me concerned. I called Dori and was reassured. I really felt these people were honest and we would be happy with the result. Well EVERYTHING went so smooooothly. Our kitchen looks amazing and the work was teriffic! We bought approx 74sq feet of granite and only had one seam! Even the seam is hard for anyone to find. We had priced granite at Lowes and they were charging us SOOOO much more and that was without a sink. I am extremely happy we went with $39 granite and would recommend them highly. They have package deals that include the sink, removing our old counters, hooking up the plumbing......soup to nuts service.

From the beginning to the end, this process was a joy. I wanted to surprise my wife for our anniversary and $39 Granite did a great job. Lee was very professional and showed me the perfect granite for our kitchen. I would highly recommend them.

$39 Granite made my kitchen beautiful! Tom our salesman helped us every step of the way. I will be using them again for my bathroom.
