Wonderful and helpful staff, lots of equipment, lots of classes. Like coming here, it's a lot of fun. Always meeting new people.

Pivotal Fitness has a Body Combat class and I’ve been looking for a straight forward class to give me confidence to defend myself in case of threatening situation. It’s been great so far, and I walk out feeling like I can take on anybody who comes at me! #Confidence

Extremely disappointed in the (lack of) management at Pivotal. I did a 7-day "free" trial, but chose to cancel and join another gym. For two months after, I was charged as a member, even though I had cancelled after my trial. I called over 10 times to get a refund and to have the manager call me back or answer me about these charges. Not once did I get the chance to speak to him over the phone. I was assured it was taken care of, but it took a very angry in-person visit by me to FINALLY have my membership cancelled. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service that I received. I was technically a paying customer during that time, and to not have the manager return any of my phone calls, was rude and shocking. Is that not a manager's job? He did not seem genuinely concerned or apologetic when I finally confronted him in person, just claimed he was "too busy". I would not recommend this gym to anyone.

Don't join Pivotal! Terrible customer service! When I was signing up to join, my main concern was being able to cancel whenever I wanted if it wasn't working out for me. The sales associate ASSURED me I could do so ANYTIME! When he talked about me paying for the whole year in full as opposed to monthly, again, he said I would be reimbursed for the months I hadn't used if I cancelled. Well, guess what?! I tried to cancel today, but since I paid in full as opposed to monthly, I can't cancel unless I die or move far away. THEY OUTRIGHT LIED TO ME AND LED ME TO BELIEVE THE THINGS I WANTED TO BELIEVE JUST TO GET MY BUSINESS! Then when I spoke with the manager today (who, by the way, refused to adhere to his sales associate's promises), he said that sales associate was no longer with Pivotal (I joined 2 months ago). Imagine that??! He says what he has to say to get the sale because he knows he's leaving Pivotal soon, anyway! PLEASE MAKE THE LONGER DRIVE AND GO TO GOLD'S GYM ON JAMES ISLAND...EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, FAR SUPERIOR EQUIPMENT AND CLASSES. IT'S WORTH THE EXTRA MILES.
