1 slack, 3 jeans to be shortened. A woman pinned the front, did nothing to the back. The man told me the others did not need to be pinned. Picked up my jeans. On vacation in CO the next day, I put on the jeans all were to short, extra short in the back. Got home, went back, asked for the slacks/jeans to be repaired. The woman agreed to fix. Today picked up my jeans. The man told me I'd washed the jeans & they shrunk. I told him, I had not washed the jeans. He argued, wouldn't listen, became angry so I said, give me my jeans. As I walked towards the back door, he started to follow me & YELLED, "Don't ever come back". He threw both his arms up in the air, stepped toward me & shouted something I couldn't understand. I ran out. When I looked at my jeans, he made a mess of them. The original job the hem was even, the thread matched color. The repair job the hem was VERY uneven, stretched, puckered, thread DID NOT MATCH. OBVIOUS, awful sloppy job on PURPOSE. STAY AWAY

SAVE YOUR MONEY. LOST IMPORTANT CLOTHING. DON'T SPEAK/UNDERSTAND ENGLISH! RUDE!

All of the alteration business in Charleston were busy with graduation alterations, so I decided to give Lee Alterations a try...I could not have been more disappointed. Mr. Lee was more than willing to take my graduation dress and fix it when I dropped it off on Monday. He happily offered to expedite the process seeing as graduation was the following Saturday. I was thrilled. I went back to pick the dress up that Saturday and was left standing in the lobby for 20 minutes while I waited for Mr. Lee and his wife to attempt to find my dress. Finally, they pulled me to their back room to help look...no luck. His wife yelled at me and laughed at me, when they saw the panic on my face and I began to cry. They lost my graduation dress a week before graduation! At College of Charleston it is tradition for girls to wear white dresses, so you can see my dilemma with graduation one week away and I needed a perfect white dress that didn't need alterations. Mr. Lee gave up very quickly looking for my dress and threw $100 in cash to me to reimburse me for my loss. A few days later he called and said he found it, the client just hadn't returned it yet. Mr. Lee ignored my calls, so finally I walked in to discuss the situation, hoping he could call the client and explain the important of them returning it. Much to my surprise he said, "What are you doing here? It's done." It has now been two weeks and that client has yet to drop off my dress. Mr. Lee and his wife do not understand nor speak English very well.

Great reparations and fast. There are so many racks of clothing that they are working on but they still have the time to do mine. Great people!

I had a hole in my favorite dress...right along the ruching. So, I took it to Mr. Lee hoping that I would get it back looking semi-perfect. I got it back looking absolutely perfect! You can't even tell where the hole was! They don't talk much - but, if you're just looking for perfect alterations - this is the place to go.

Don't go. I have never been spoken to so rudely. I took my dress and decided I would find someone else.

They only speak rudely if the other person is disrespectful in the first place.

great work

Mr. Le does the best work. I used to go to a place near by but they either cut too short or leave me dragging my hems and was always sloppy. I was told about Mr. Le and I brought my clothes to him to try one time. The work was beautiful. My clothes fit perfectly like they were made to fit just me and the work is beyond perfection.
