John Mcguire Hutcherson III did a horrible job painting and when confronted threatened us. took 3 times the promised time, would go days without showing up, and made a total mess.

We hired John Hutcherson to paint our remodel in June 2009. He had completed the work when we noticed our ceilings in the kitchen and living areas were 2 different shades of cream. He acknowledged that it was a mistake and promised to have his guy or himself come back to fix it (after we paid him) and never ever did. Did not return calls and then his phone was disconnected. I tried to track him down through other contractors, the Charleston market where he said he had a shop etc. for over a YEAR! Then low and behold there was a flier in my driveway the other day advertising his business. When I called he REFUSED to make it right saying it was too long ago and then hung up on me. Buyer be ware.... his work is below standard and even then he still doesn't stand by it!!
