Established in 1946, Bessinger's Barbecue is one of the oldest restaurants in Charleston in South Carolina. It specializes in a variety of barbecues and sauces. The restaurant s menu includes Carolina coleslaw, cheeseburgers, hamburgers, onion rings, chicken tenders, barbecue baked beans and hot dogs. Bessinger's Barbecue offers a range of buffet dishes, including barbecue pork, macaroni, sweet potato souffl , fried and teriyaki chicken and green beans. Additionally, the restaurant serves a selection of salads, soups, beverages and desserts. It is owned and operated by Bessinger's & Bessinger's.

A 5 star buffet with some of the best Catfish stew we've ever had. Their ribs, fried fish, and bbq are all dynamite.

This was some great southern bbq. Service was fast and southernly also.
