You can find them on eBay at the username destinfl111 if you want to check what they're selling the stuff they told you they couldn't get very much for (to the guy below me)!!! I took some stuff in and was shocked that they offered me so little. They actually tried to buy a piece of gold for me for less than the price they had posted on the board right behind them! Them, trying to be slick: "Well, it's 11 dwt. would you take $200 for it?" Me: "Well considering the board behind you says that you're paying $22 per dwt., times 11 equals $242, I'd prefer to not take less than the sign says... Soooooo no."

Watch buying electric or battery powered tools from this place. You try it out there and it works but when you finally go to use it the battery dies after 5 min or a corded sander won't shut off. I always try to keep my money locally but this place will never get anymore of my business. I have always shopped there to do my part in the community but after them not wanting to give a refund just because it took me a week to use the item then so be it, they lost a good customer.

It seems like the more you bring this place, the less they want to pay! You'd think it would be the opposite- that they would want to protect and honor the people that literally fuel their business by bringing large amounts of items in, but I assure you that's not the case. Every time I bring them a load of stuff, I walk away more and more disappointed every time I leave.

Here's a little more detail: They told me that they would buy anything that I could show them has recently sold on eBay for half of what it sells for on eBay. (Example: I bring in an item that routinely sells for $100 on eBay, and they would give me $50 for it.) What I didn't tell them is that I recently fell on hard times and had to close down both of my businesses that I've been running for nearly a decade. What were those businesses? A contracting company, and an eBay resale business. Needless to say I have a lot of stuff to sell that perfectly fits their demographic, and know exactly what it's going to sell for. Once upon a time, about 20 pawn tickets ago, they treated me with respect and made me fair offers. Today, several months later, they treated me like I was a drug addict and offered me $30 for $389 worth of tools that they would sell for about $150. I actually tested their "we give half of what we're going to sell it for theory." I sold them an item for $20, thinking they would price it at $50-$60 to allow some room for negotiation, ultimately letting the customer ask for a price break and selling it for around $40. I called in the next day and asked what they wanted for the item I sold them. They are asking $100 for it. I brought in a brand new air conditioner that I paid $400 +/- for last year. They tell me they can only give me $30 because they sell them real cheap. I come in a week later and see it on display for $150. Take it from someone that knows what they're talking about... You'll do better selling your stuff at any other pawn shop than this one.

Excellent customer service,great prices and they sell quality merchandise,new and used .This is by far the best pawn shop I have been in ,definitely not your average pawn shop.I have bought many things at great prices here.very friendly atmosphere.stop by and see for yourself,you won't be disappointed.thank you Golden pawn and all the employees there you have a very nice place. The best pawn shop I've ever seen , they have everything you could imagine!! I will stop by there at least twice a week!!
