Having visited Sal's a few times, it has become our last resort option when we decide to eat on this side of town close to home. First, the sauce taste "fresh", fresh out of the can. I think Preggo makes a better tasting sauce. The pizza is ok, but nothing to write home about. Most of the time, the service is existent, to give it better credit than it deserves. Our last attempt of ever going to Sal's was last night. We went in, and the poorly designed restaurant was full (mind you they have about 8, maybe 10 tables). 2 of which, were leaving. So, we decided to wait. And wait. And wait. We were not waiting on the tables to leave, we were waiting on them to get cleaned. After waiting a good 8 minutes after the FIRST table left, we decided to give them a few more minutes. The tables were never cleaned so we left. The lady at the register said, "Sorry, guys", as we were leaving, never offered to get the tables cleaned, or offer us any kind of incentive to stay, just a simple sorry. We sat outside for a few minutes discussing where we were going to eat, and could see the tables from outside. It wasn't until a male delivery driver came in did the tables get cleaned, even though there were girls waiting on tables around the dirty tables. We will not go back.
