This may be a good place for simple things and inexpensive garments but not a place to give expensive clothes you care about, not even for very simple alterations. I had a somewhat long sleeve in a new Cashemire jacket bought in Rome. The tailor mechanically shortened the bottom of the sleeve leaving 0.25 inch between the sleeve and the corner - realized only at home - it looks awful. It seems to be such a trivial rule as I now read if you cannot move buttons because of the button holes - shorten the sleeve from the top. No skilled tailor could do and release the work the way it was given to me. Will not go back under any circumstance.

I went there to get sleeves added to a wedding dress, every other tailor I had called before this one had said they would not do the work. Luckily for me, they did a great job. Rose is quick and strait to the point, probably because her shop is the best in the area and is always filled with customers. Anyway: I couldn't be happier with the work, I highly recommend this place.



P.S. in RE to the review below about the one leg shorter than the other, usually tailors pin the clothes where you want the hem to be. If the reviewer was standing with her weight on one leg, that's probably what happened, so in a way she did ask for it that way. It happened to me once with a skirt at a different place, but instead of blaming it on the seamstress, I enjoyed having a asymmetrical skirt.
