My daughter is one of the "Original" students. She has been taking classes at SRDA since they opened. Heather has been one of her teachers almost every year, but she has worked with several of the other teachers. We have had nothing but an "AWESOME" experience at SRDA. The teachers are professional and work very well with the students. Heather, Fran, Maria, and All of the teachers bend over backwards to accommodate everyone as much as possible. If anything, they are overly-accommodating. My daughter loves SRDA, as this is a big part of her life and future. If it were not so, believe me, I wouldn't have let my child continue there for nine, going on ten, years. I recommend SRDA to any and everyone that has a child, girl or boy, to get EXCELLENT dance training.

My daughter has been dancing at South Riding Dance Academy for 6 years. The Director is very professional and works with the parent to accodomate the family's needs and the dancer's needs. My daughter loves the director and has told me on numerous occasions that she could not imagine her week without going to class and being greeted by the Director. She is warm, pleasant, but also tries to push the students to their full potential without hurting their self-esteem. I highly recommend South Riding Dance Academy.

I have been going to SRSD for 9 years. The owner and Teachers are both higly trained professionals with a portfolio of accomplishments, awards and education. Being around the dance studio envornment for most of my life, this family oriented establishment offers indvidualized attention and genuine concern for all their students. The students have made tremendous accomplishments throughout the years at numerous competitions as well as being a part of the "official" Red Skin Jr. Cheerleaders accrediated studio! The owner takes great pride in all her students and runs a highly regarded studio in NVA. Its a shame that in certain occasions the parents ruin it for the children!

Heather Taylor is an intelligent and excellent performing arts expert. Heather's Company in Northern Virginia, the South Riding Dance Academy, produces the most refined stars of Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and the Theatre. Heather is a first-class talent who is highly-respected and a sophisticated business leader.

My older daughter has taken dance at South Riding Dance for 3 years and she loves it. She has so much fun while also learning to dance. I have never had a problem with any of the teachers and I see Heather (owner) teaching classes all the time and she is always available. She knows everyone by name and is always very professional and friendly. Whenever I've had questions or concerns, they have always been addressed quickly.



Over the years, I have seen her take the comments from the parents and students and make positive changes.

My child was taking dance classes here and the instructor was very unprofessional. She was not very good at working with children or making them feel comfortable. When I emailed my concerns to the owner, her only response was to tell me how to disenroll my child and stop charges to my credit card.
