If I could give zero stars I would. I asked Mike Williams plumbing for a quote to do work in my bathroom. After I had to request the visit fee be removed, the quote came in at $4,000 dollars. I had two prior quotes from other leading competitors in the area, which were both about $500. I also called to confirm that there was no confusion in what service was being performed. Their service is outrageously overpriced; I would suggest taking any and all business elsewhere.

My ex husband asked me to call this company for him due to a rental issue HE HAD because he was stuck in meetings all day. All I did was make a phone call & provide them with the address that needed the repair!!! I did not authorize any type of service or provide them with any billing or account information. When they called me back, I gave them my ex husband's contact information & he set the repair up with them. My ex & I were legally divorced in June 2013 & the date of service was Jan 2014. And because I made ONE PHONE CALL on my ex's behalf Mike Williams has decided I am resposible for the $452 repair!! So if you're ever trying to do anyone a favor & help them out DONT CALL MIKE WILLIAMS OR ELSE YOU MIGHT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE BILL & HAVE YOUR CREDIT RUINED BECAUSE OF IT!!!! If I could remove the hot water heater they installed & drop it off at their front door w/the bill revoking the service that I NEVER AUTHORIZED OR SIGNED FOR I would!!! Don't know how you can be responsible for $452 in repairs when you didn't sign anything or even speak to the repairman about what needed done!!! This company is sooooo not worth the crappy little coupon they have on the phonebooks that's for sure!! I would give 0 stars but it won't let me!!!

We used these overpriced plumbing CO. to replace a toilet. In order to get a "better" price you have to belong to a "Club" and pay 9.95 a month, for a least 6 months. The better price was 900.00 for a simple toilet. Then you have to call to STOP the auto deduct or they would do forever. DONT EVER USE THIS COMPANY...

Do not use this company. My fathers stool ended up costing over $800. This was a discounted price as we had to sign a contract for$9.95 a month. To cancel the contract, it must be in writing. Told them the last stool was $400 and they said they would refund some of the price if we compared "apples to apples". The only difference was that the $400 stool wasn't put in by a licensed plumber. How hard is it to put in a stool but my dad is 92 so we called them. Never again.

they did a great job installing oursump pump but cant get through to them on the phone been trying for 2 hours busy busy busy

We scheduled a furnace inspection. The original appointment was cancelled because they were too busy with more important customers. We rescheduled and were given an 8am appointment several days later. They called the day before to confirm, so we thought it was all set. Unbeknownst to us they were going to call and confirm in the morning too. Since I was on a business call I didn't get the message until almost nine. I called them back, got an answering service, then had to wait additional time for the actual company to call me back to tell me my appointment was cancelled. All they had to do was give me a heads up that they would be calling in the morning, or heaven forbid, just show up like they had already confirmed. Why some businesses feel that it's ok to put unnecessary burdens on customers is beyond me. They have lost this customer forever.

Bathroom faucet (previously purchased) and two lines for a minor leak needed repair and replacement. Instead of immediately discussing the problem, the technician and his trainee were focused on the priority maintenance club for $9.95/month. By reading online reviews (after the fact), this appears to be common practice - technicians whip out the fee schedule to show how much can be saved by joining the club, including 25% off initial service. Both prices are extremely inflated. Declined the maintenance club, and the technician then called his 'boss' to see if he could get a better price. Dropped the fee from $400+ to $320 (WOW - how did that happen since we didn't join the club). At this point, we already had invested in the $60.00 service call and decided to proceed. Because the service truck had a flat tire earlier in the day, technicians left to get parts (we were probably charged for this time, too) and returned to complete the repair. The 'itemized statement' we requested didn't show line items for labor or parts - only a general description with the total fee. After speaking with union plumbers at my place of employment, this fee was exorbitant. Again requested an itemized statement via email and still waiting. Mike Williams is extremely overpriced and would not recommend. Services provided by local companies probably are in line with the services performed. Do not support this corporation!

I had a burst pipe and also needed an outside faucet. These guys quoted $440...I used another plumber I know who did the job for $125! On another occasion we called them out to check the AC which was not working properly. They checked it and said we needed a whole new AC setup at a huge cost in the thousands ($5000) or thereabouts. I used my same plumber and he put in a new motor and checked it for a cost of $300..!!!! It is working perfectly. Always compare their quotes..!!!

They quoted $600-$800 for a P trap replacement that costs $15.00 in parts and should take a real plumber no more than 30min max. They also quoted things we did not need and charged us for a service call $59.00 non-refundable.

It took them five trips for the simplest, most basic of plumbing repairs. In the end, we could have bought new fixtures for half the price they charged to repair the old ones. We couldn't wait to be rid of them. Do NOT hire them for plumbing work.

For years now we have received the same ads from this company using the same scams to deceive consumers into doing business with them under false circumstances. They claim that they have been given special pricing on 37 units to sell before a specific date, normally a couple of weeks. Yet, this ad was used last month in Decatur, the month before in Mahomet, the month before in Champaign, the month before in Urbana, and the deceit continues every month in a different part of the state.They also misrepresent Goodman equipment by disguising it as a Mike Williams brand. It's Goodman all the way. Goodman is the worst of the worst, as well as the cheapest equipment to buy. What is worse is that this company will give you a 19k quote and if you don't buy in the first week, they'll lower their price for the same exact equipment by over 10k. This company is nothing but a rip off by using scams and lies. Don't use!!!
