CLEAN, Quiet, and I'll Go Back!

Labor Day Weekend was our first stay and we will return! With it being a holiday weekend, the campground where we were was full and it appeared the motel was full as well BUT it was so peaceful and enjoyable. You could lean back, close your eyes and just listen to the outdoor sounds of the kids playing in the pool or a little boy excited about catching a fish. They are about 1/2 mile off the main highway so there isn't any highway noise and the owners keep a good check on the property - no partying. Their web site says that they are family orentiated and it's true. We checked out the rooms for future visits during the cold weather and when crappie fishing season begins and the rooms was really clean. Oh yes, got to tell you about the bath house - we could not believe how clean it was with plenty of hot water! Oh yeh, and the grounds! The borders were all rock lined and there is this small really beautiful rose garden. We talked to one of the owners and she said it took them almost a year to put out all the rocks.

We woudl recommend this motel and campground ot anyone. Try it, I don't believe that you will be disappointed.
