Feiereisen was founded in 1933 by Henry Feiereisen and his wife. What began as a book bindery soon expanded into letterpress printing and diecutting. By 1971, when Feiereisen decided to sell the business, Feiereisen was handling the finishing work for most of the printers in the area. Feiereisen specializes in embossing, wire-o-binging, diecutting and foil stamping. The company s product line includes, UV coating; diecutting, scoring and perfing; foil stamping; hot embossing; board/litho mounting; film lamination; folding and gluing and tab dividers. Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Feiereisen is a privately owned company that employs nearly 100 people.
