Cedar Valley Christian School was founded in 1974 as a part of Cedar Valley Bible Church s ministry, and serves families from more than 20 churches in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The school enrolls students in preschool through grade 12, and its curriculum addresses the needs of students in the areas of spiritual, mental, physical and social development. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, writing, mathematics, history, science and reasoning. It also offers various sports programs, such as soccer, volleyball, basketball and track and field. The school provides various extracurricular activities, such as drama, Lego league and chess clubs and various choirs.
