Something to clear up is that they do not call with a reminder prior to your appointment. When so many doctors offices do this today, others might expect it. I did and wish they would do so. Still, I've thought the staff and dental hygienists have been perfect in their service when I've been there as a patient. Can't complain about that at all.

I feel the need to post my experiences as well. I have been a patient of this dentist for years. I have had nothing but great experiences and dental care for my entire family. The office waiting room feels like a living room, not that I have ever spent much time in it, and the people who work there are professional at all times. In addition, Dr. Emery (or her staff) always gives a courtesy call to be reassured that all is well after appointments. My son had a tooth pulled and he never even knew he's been given 3 shots! So basically, I am grateful to Dr. Emery for always making my children and I feel secure at our appointments. I can not imagine how the post below can be true. I think perhaps there maybe an overreaction occurring. I recommend this dental office to EVERYONE I know, and will continue to do so.

On reading the previous review, I thought that I should post mine since it was the total opposite. My appointment was scheduled at a time that was convenient for me and was not changed. When I arrived, I found the office to be very clean and inviting. The staff was great and the hygienist who cleaned my teeth was very accomodating and told me step by step what she was doing. I was also very impressed that they were aware of my insurance coverage and explained to me that my cleaning would actually be done in 2 parts so that the insurance would cover everything.

All in all, I was very well pleased and have recommended this dentist to friends.

This dental office is poorly staffed and managed. Not only was my first appt. rescheduled due to a scheduling mistake on their part, I never received a courtesy phone call to confirm my upcoming appt.

When I called on my way to the morning appt, I was told my appt. was earlier and that I would have to reschedule since I would be late. Also, they lied about ever having confirmed my appt. by courtesy phone call the previous day. Mind you, my appt. was set for 9:20, but somehow their records show 9AM. Although I did get to the office at 9:10, I was told my procedure could not be done and I'd have to reschedule to have the work completed. Furthermore, while this was going on, another staff person was calling a patient to reschedule her appt. due to the office's scheduling mistakes. In conclusion, I pulled all my records and am seeing another dentist. I would not recommend this dentist.
