Great food, great service!

Quite frankly, I hadn't stopped by and given Old Chicago a try for a variety of reasons:
1. I'm from Chicago and have been burned too many times by restaurants claiming to have "Chicago Style" anything.
2. My wife keeps gluten free and I figured they wouldn't have much for her.
3. I'd seen some reviews of poor service

After visiting for the first time yesterday, I'm happy to report...
1. Wrong
2. Wrong
3. HELL WRONG!

We had terrific service. Our server was attentive and we received all of our food in a reasonable amount of time. I was also very impressed by the manager, who introduced herself as Taquitha. She addressed our unique dietary questions, and even custom prepared a side dish to our needs. I asked her how long she had been at Old Chicago and she informed me that she had only come over a few weeks ago, but had lots of restaurant experience (it showed)

Kudos to Old Chicago. It looks like they are very attentive and doing the all the right things.

This is the worst place you can go to!!! The service is horrible and unprofessional!

Our wait time was to be 15 min and that turned into 45 min, they finally got us a table when I explained to the host that there are 9 table that are empty. We ordered our appetizer and 30 min later he decided to tell us that they are fresh out of our appetizer!

we ordered our food ( just me and my wife), it took a hour in a half to get the food!! The lady that was beside us that works there but was off ordered her food (3 apps and 3 meals) and got it in 15 min. When the lady got done eating she asked OUR waiter to watch her small children so she can step out side to make some quick cash! 30 Min later she came back in looking like she just woke up!

While we were there we counted 15 different tables that had gotten up and left without eating

I will never go there again. This place is nothing but trash and I cant wait to see the day they get closed down.

FYI they have only been open for 6 days!

Horrible service! Such a bad experience. Everything seems unorganized. They need better management and better training.
