This place is filthy! Went to have my nails soaked off & was disgusted by what happened next. After the nails were dissolved they sucked the remaining acetone, nail partials, germs, dirt, gunk & whatever else comes off your nails back up into the nail polish removal bottles to re-use. I was appalled by this & couldn't believe my eyes. Then as having a fresh set of nails put on, I started looking around & realized that all of the sanitation jars were empty & gross. That tools used to file & drill were sitting around not cleaned between customers. Every station was full of nail dust (natural nails & other). Completely grossed out wondering what people are being exposed to due to lack of sanitation. They are very rough w/ your hands & feet if you start bleeding they ignore & don't sanitize tools after. I don’t recall ever seeing an employee ever wash their hands or sanitize between customers. They use razors and cheese graders on your feet without cleaning between customers as well.

Description of Complaint: This place is filthy! I went to have my solar nails soaked off & was disgusted by what happened next. My hands sat in acetone about 20 minutes in glass bowls. Once the nails started to dissolve they sucked the remaining acetone, nail partials, germs, dirt, gunk & whatever else comes off your nails, under nails, skin while soaking in that stuff back up into the nail polish removal bottles to re-use. I was appalled by this & couldn't believe my eyes. Then as I was having a fresh set of nails put on, I started looking around and realized that all of the sanitation jars were empty and gross inside at every station, and that the tools used to file and drill were sitting around not cleaned between customers. Every work station was full of nail dust (natural and other). Completely grossed out wondering what people are being exposed to due to lack of sanitation. These people are very rough if you start bleeding they continue to file or drill don’t do anything to prevent or clean up blood from the tools. They use both razors & a cheese grader on feet for callus removal and don't so much as rinse it between customers, just shake it off and put it back in the drawer! Aside from that the male in the shop smokes between each customer but does not wash his hands before returning to the station. I don’t recall ever seeing anyone wash their hands or sanitize between customers. Tiles are coming up and pose a trip hazard in middle of the salon floor. The bathroom is gross and the solon smells of mold/ mildew. The pedicure chairs are not cleaned or wiped down between clients just the foot bowl rinsed w/ water. Nail files are not per customer they are used from customer to customer w/out being sanitized, drill files and metal tools are not rinsed between customers just set out on dirty dusty nail station and use again on next customer. From my observance there is a real health threat posed in this particular salon and disinfection and sanitation practices are not being practiced to prevent spread of germ, disease, communicable disease, or fungus. Code Violations: 175:10-7-6, 175:10-7-11, 175:10-7-14, 175:10-7-18, 175:10-7-30 just a few of the health code violations found.
