I recently purchased a condominium and part of the contract was that the carpets be professionally cleaned at the seller's expense because they were a disaster (cat urine stains throughout). Needless to say this woman did not keep a clean home. I was provided a receipt for services rendered and when I did the walkthrough the carpet looked better but not good, it was as if one stain only was cleaned. Well, after settlement when I was able to bring over lamps and actually really see the carpet, it was not cleaned at all. There were little things all over the carpet like beads, paperclips, etc etc and there was a haze of cat fur like the place hadn't been vacuumed in years. My real estate agent called Caton cleaners and they said they did do the work. This is a lie, I know for a fact nothing was done because the carpet would need to be vacuumed first and I took a bissell steam cleaner in this little condo last night and steam cleaned the living room, and 2 bedrooms and had to change the water 5 times. It was filthy! So, I was provided a receipt and work was not done, isn't that something! Apparently, the steam cleaning was $39.80, the "deep scrub" was $100 and "teflon protection" was $100.00. What a joke. This was clearly not done. If you can't tell, I would not recommend this company.
