Have you checked your credit score lately? Yes, after a CD deposit THIS BANK WILL DO A HARD CREDIT SCORE INQUIRY, IF YOU HAVE A HIGH CREDIT SCORE THEY WILL MAKE MORE MONEY FROM THEIR PARTNERS AND YOU ARE LEFT WITH A SCORE 10% LOWER THAN IT SHOULD BE. TIAA DIRECT, Sallie Mae and others did not do a hard credit inquiry.

Does this top it off? Customer Service at FF told me to call each of the auto, life insurers, credit cards . "Ask them to be removed from their marketing lists" I am still receiving junk mail 2 years after closing my accounts.

Stay away from this TERRIBLE bank

DO NOT EVER GO INTO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!! I have had the WORST experience of my life with First Flight. I financed my car through them a few years ago because that is what the car dealer set up for me and it has been a NIGHTMARE ever since! They started drafting money out of my account (that the dealer also set up for me with $50 but that I didnt really use) with out even speaking to me about it. It took about 3 calls to get it situated.
Then, when I first started making my payments I could pay over the phone for free. After a few months I was told I couldnt use my debit/credit card anymore but I could pay with a check for free. OK. So I did that. Then a couple more months later I was told I would be charged a service fee for any payment taken over the phone and I would have to mail my payment in. This of course annoyed me because it is inconvenient but oh well. SO I started mailing my checks in each month. and EVERY MONTH they take AT LEAST 2WEEKS to cash my check!!!!! I have had it take almost a month before! I have spoken to reps about this problem a few times and no one cares! They basically are like oh well, pay the fee or deal with it. I dont thiknk it should be that hard to GIVE SOMEONE MY MONEY!!!!! I absolutley NEVER EVER EVER would finance anything through them again. Bottom line is they do not care about helping their members and have horrible customer service. Avoid this HUGE mistake and bank somewhere else!
