Having volunteered in may "non-profits" I've seen a lot of waste and excessive spending. Then I volunteered at Food For Thought in Carson City, Nevada. It is one of the leanest, yet most productive charities I have ever had the pleasure to help! The donations go out the door almost immediately to the children that need it. And it does go straight to the children. It is very discreet, direct and is having a major impact on young children in need!



The organization is ran primarily by mothers and grandmothers that have absolutely no financial gain from their 'labors of love'. It is a legitimate organizaiton, that is still small enough that it has not lost it's focus. They are there to help the children.



If you ever wonder where your donated dollar will go the furthest, look towards Food For Thought.
