I have been using Amy for years and have become familiar with a number of their techs. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. They are always professional, polite, kind, honest and straightforward, unwilling to do anything that isn't safe or quality for the customer, and clean. As a handicapped person I tend to need help doing things now as where I didn't need such assistance in the past. Amy became my go to for the tasks that I could no longer do due to my physical infirmity. In general, because I have been taught and have performed many of the tasks previously, I know what to look for in terms of quality and efficiency and the fellas (haven't had a female tech yet) at Amy have those in spades. Only once did a tech have to return to fix a fix and they did so immediately and apologetically. That was once out of many service calls for an old house that has had plumbing, HVAC, electric, gas updated and many other updates and repairs over the years by Amy's well qualified techs. Here, at the end of the review, I must say that I am aware that they cost a little more than some others - There is a quality and a guarantee that go with that cost. The parts they use are all top notch, they stand by what they've done, everything passes professional inspections without a hitch, I can trust them to perform work in my home when I am not present and only my wife is and once I handed a handiman the front door key because I preferred to go to the museum with my family the next day instead of watch him work. I felt at the time and still feel now that they have earned that continued trust.

Had a new furnace installed after our old one went kaput. Went with what Justin recommended we install. Now 3 months later, our gas bill has been literally half of what it used to be. They were great from start to finish. So glad I called them.

I had to have my water shut off valve to my refrigerator replaced due to the fact it would not shut off and water was leaking out of the value. The service repairman came to my house and replace the leaking valve and my bill was $361.00 which I think is excessive for this type of repair. I called the office and the snarky women who answered the phone stated they do repairs on a project basis, which is fine. I wanted an itemized break down of my bill. This is not to much to ask and can be done. I would like to know how much the labor is and how much was the part. The woman stated that the owner would have to call me. I'm still waiting. I DO NOT RECOMMEND UNSING THIS PLUMBER!!!!!!

I came home from vacation to find my heat dead and my pipes frozen. Amy came out right away and fixed my furnace and thawed my pipes all within 2 hours. Thanks to them I averted disaster! I'll never use anyone else from now on. I'm an Amy club member for life.

Their "two hour window" for appointments is false advertising. I called them after the 2 hours was up and, after being put on hold and forced to listen to their automated sales pitch, was told the technician was finishing up on a call and would be at my house shortly. He arrived half an hour later. They are EXTREMELY expensive and they try to sell you on their "club membership" as they rip you off. Not impressed.

Been a Member and customer for years. They installed my new furnace and air. I have a problem with mice building nests in the outdoor unit circuit board box so I can't turn my air on until they come out. When I called for the cleaning I was told the next appointment is in 24 days putting us near the end of May and they've already been paid! I guess since they have my money they don't care!

No, heat, and 2 freezing kids is not the way to spend the night. I was happy when someone answered my call at 2am and got a guy here in within a hour in the middle of the night to fix our furnace! Excellent customer service all around. Thank you!

I called Amy for a 2nd opinion after Lowes and Home Depot both tried to rip me off with their low ball quote over the phone for a new water heater. Im convinced I bought a better water heater for less guaranteed by someone that answers their phone day and night, Thanks for saving the day Amy I will recommend you to all my friends and neighbors and continue to use all of your services.

I called Amy for a 2nd opinion after Lowes and Home Depot both tried to rip me off with their low ball quote over the phone for a new water heater. Im convinced I bought a better water heater for less guaranteed by someone that answers their phone day and night, Thanks for saving the day Amy I will recommend you to all my friends and neighbors and continue to use all of your services.

During a big rain storm a few weeks ago my sump pump quit. The water in the hole was filling up quickly. When I called on the phone a nice lady answered and said someone would be out right away, 20 minutes later AMY was here! They replaced my broken, junk, home depot sump pump i had installed less than a year prior. They also installed a battery back up so I wont have to worry about my basement flooding again. Ask for Brad he did a great job. Great work at a fair price. We signed up and will be using them for everything.

The markup for the faucet they installed was considerable, and they did not even use all of the parts (yet the customer pays for all of the parts and does not get to keep them). I went to the Moen website and also the Home Depot website to check costs. I was billed over $250 for a faucet that cost less than $87 FOR THE ENTIRE SET (faucet, showerhead, faucet handle, and trim). The repair person wasn't even here for an hour and I was charged an exorbitant amount of money for service. It cost $79 just for the person showing up and breathing oxygen. And then the rude manager tried to sell me membership to his Club, after charging over $550 for a simple faucet replacement. I no longer will use Amy Home Services for any of their services: plumbing, air conditioning, furnaces, you name it. You can get more reasonable prices and services elsewhere.
