Arde is an AS-9100 registered business that designs and manufactures spacecraft and missile propulsion components compliant to MIL-STD 1552A, EWR-127-1, SAE/AIAA S-080 and S-081 and ESA standards. It is also ITAR compliant and serves customers worldwide. Founded in 1952, it comprises of four highly integrated functional groups: design, manufacturing, quality control and program management. Its core products are metal lined composite over wrapped pressure vessels, high strength all-metal pressure vessels, positive expulsion propellant tanks, surface tension propellant tanks, pressure vessel support structures and integration of propulsion sub-assemblies using precision cleaning and orbital tube weld capabilities. Arde fabricates metal tanks and structures in aluminum, iconel, steel and titanium alloys. It has six decades of experience in the missile and space flight business with no in-service incidents and has shipped more than 4000 space flight and missile tanks during this period. It is the recipient of numerous sub-contractor awards from NASA and major space flight prime contractors. It has its headquarters in Norwood, N.J.
