Atmosphere is just like the name, Downhome! Service, great, customers are even more friendly. Food is always good!

Ever since they moved to this area, my grandparents went once a month to this cafe. My Papa passed away almost a year ago. My grandmother just told my mother tonight, that a few months ago, during First Monday weekend, she tried to go for dinner. But when she got there, THEY TURNED HER AWAY, and their reasoning was because "they couldn't seat just 1 person!" My grandmother is 74 years old and she was going to this cafe to enjoy dinner where her and my Papa used to enjoy spending time with each other. I cannot believe the person that said this to her and turned her away could do such a thing. That person and this cafe should be ashamed of themselves. This restaurant SHOULD VALUE & ACCOMMODATE EVERY ELDERLY CUSTOMER WHO WALKS THROUGH THEIR DOORS! After all, they too are the reason you get a pay check! Especially those who live in the city in which you do business! I almost forgot to add, this action embarrassed her & hurt her feelings a great deal.

Great home cooked meals and great service. Friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable prices.
