If I could rate negative stars I would! I have been shopping at joanne's for years this was my first time at this store and they have Horrible customer service one of the worst I've ever saw, from employees to management. Had an employee scream at my 9year old daughter twice both times for harmless things when reported to management no apology but was told the employee had bad kids, which DOES NOT in anyway give her rights to scream at other people's children! Good thing about big cities I have more choices like Michaels and hobby lobby. Because of the staff in this store Joanne's just lost a 30 year customer. Never has my daughter been miss treated in a bad way like this by anyone. To the women that had to yell I am tyring to raise a respectful citizen so I used you as an example of how not to act or treat others I Explained your immaturity and your huge lack of respect to my daughter so she understands how cruel people can be and why she don't want to act the way you did. I'm sorry you have trouble with your children but not all kids are disrespectful. I hope you can learn something good from this

I'm about done going to this store, and would like to explain what happens on many occasions. There is one employee in particular, that is the poorest example of a customer service provider. The English/Scottish speaking woman, never says hello, never smiles and appears to have the worst dislike for waiting on customers...Yesterday as about 20-25 people were waiting to get material cut. And only two women were cutting material, she took it upon herself to stop, and put away an order of material that had been cut and a customer layed down. Like seven different pieces and proceeded to put each and everyone back on the bolts, WHEN THERE WAS 20+ OF US STANDING THERE TO GET MATERIAL CUT!! AND DIDN'T EVEN SHOW ANY CONCERN ABOUT THE TIME IT TOOK HER TO LAZYLY PUT THEM BACK ON EACH BOLT!!! She needs to find another job or be put somewhere in a corner of that store, as she has NO! customer service niceities about her. And she is like that everytime I come in this store...Why? could she have not put that stuff away when less people were standing there needing material cut. And some other woman ran around trying to find another roll of numbers to put in the machine. I stood there for 20 minutes...just watching the antics of these two and the other lady who was cutting material took 15 minutes to complete to customers cuttings!!!! You all need to be trained on customer service and taught while your at work the customer is the most important person while your at work!!!! Needless to say a put my hand in the air and yelled "Who wants my number?" as I left steaming from the treatment all these customers were receiving I made a note to write this review this morning and see if I'd feel any better about the treatment that was given yesterday...And I'm still ticked as I never got to use my coupons for the materials I wanted to purchase and the time I wasted on going to this store, and Ford Rd. is no picnic to ever be around on any given day, so I avoid it like the black plague, and use every side street to ever get to where I need to go on this street. I'm driving futher next time to go to a pleasantly customer treated store....This employee should be dealt with and told a smile and a hello should be imprinted on her sour face, I don't care how many little sets of scissors that surround her name tag....She gets a F - in my book. PS: If I ever venture to this store again, I'm definately asking for the next cutting person as that lady can ruin my day, and I'm sure she has put the taste of alum of in other customers mouths.
