If you are reading this while in search of a moving company, do yourself a favor and find another moving company. My experience has been disappointing with continued issues and lack of any customer service as my house sits empty due to lack of delivery

DMS was contracted by a moving broker that my corporation uses. They were packing all my belongings to move my family from Michigan to Texas. I was told in the beginning that I didn't need to pack anything or worry about the move because the movers were professional and would make me feel at ease. Boy were they wrong! The packers grumbled the entire time, rushed through packing my items, broke many articles (vintage 50's lamp, my surfboard, refrigerator (repair man said it must have been tipped on its side!). They were rushing because they were late for another move in AZ (what does that have to do with me?).



All in all, I had a terrible moving experience. Thankfully, my items were stored by a Texas mover until I moved into my house and they did an excellent job delivering my goods.



Oh, yeah, I almost forgot to mention that they left my wife's curio and my work desk in Michigan because they ran out of time. They promised to bring them in the future on another truck and it never happened.



Don't use DMS!!!!!!

I have been moved several times throughout my career, and have not encountered a relocation experience like this one....BEWARE! Our latest move was from Alabama to Michigan. We were treated well by the crew that packed, shipped and delivered our goods, but the after being charged almost $5000 just to store my goods post-move, DMS has left me high and dry when I filed my damage claim. If you value your goods, don't use DMS. Here's the story:



There were a couple of items that were obviously damaged upon delivery.....the lead mover noted the damages, and said they would take care of it, so......not a big deal, I thought. The real problem was with the storage of our goods while we closed on our new home. We were charged an exhorbinant amount (over $2,000 per month). For that cost, our goods were supposedly stored in a "climate controlled" environment. Upon delivery of our goods, we started to notice that nearly all of our plastic items (cooking utensils to alarm clocks) were discolored. Additionally (and of bigger concern), our stained and painted furniture became yellowed and discolored. The discoloration was caused by excessive temperatures. The company has refused to compensate us for the damage, despite filing our claim. They'll gladly take your money, but will not support you when the problems arise.

I had the best moving experience with them I had brad olary who is by far the best mover I've ever had he took care of my stuff nothing was broken he treated my stuff as if it was his own nothing in the house was damaged which was suprising due to my past movers very polite and courteous went out of his way to help me I will definitely be using dms in the future best mover ever thanks dms for giving me such a great mover
