The Driver Education Program taught by Dickerson Driving School, Inc. is licensed by the Georgia Department of Motor Vehicle Safety. The program consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours of individual, behind-the-wheel training. ----Dickerson Driving School, Inc. offers a Defensive Driving Course that is available to all drivers and may qualify drivers for an insurance reduction.----Over 50 Years of Experience -- Ken Dickerson is the founder of Dickerson Driving School, Inc. and is a State Certified Driving Instructor in Georgia. Ken is responsible for the successful education of thousands of drivers in Cherokee County over the past 50 years. He has a Masters Degree in Driver's Education from the University of Georgia and is retired from the Cherokee County Board of Education as a teacher of some 35 years. Ken has continued to teach private driving lessons since retirement and also drives a school bus in Cherokee County, which he has done for the last 50 years.-- Prestige within the community -- Ken is a distinguished member of the community, respected by his previous students and his peers alike. Many of his current students are the children and grandchildren of students that Ken trained during his tenure as Driver Education Director at Cherokee High School.
