Attended for many years and graduated from FB, got into a great college. I along with many other students were miserable with the environment. We studied edited works of Shakespeare etc!

From day one, Faith Baptist lovingly embraced our son, pushed him past his comfort zone with a challenging curriculum and above all recognized him for who he is as an individual. Their teaching methods simply work for our child. His teachers have been truly wonderful and have gone above and beyond in supporting our child and making themselves available to him and our family.

Overall this is a great school. Academic standard is very excellent. I would recommend this school to friends. Teachers are very polite, helpful and courteous. I have no problems sending my kids to this school. Please keep up the high academic standard, in turn it will bring school standard to above and beyond public schools.

My daughter has been attending Faith Baptist since K5 and my family and I are extremely happy with her education level. We have been blessed to have amazing talented and caring teachers. By far our favorite is Mrs. Larson who teaches second grade.

If you have any questions, other than what I have let you know here, such as, the progression of my specific dilemma and the lawsuit against Roland, you can email me anytime. If I were maybe going to send my kids to this school, based off of location, I may want to know what the details are. I am not changing the other reviews, and what I am getting to is this, Roland does his job, like he should, he happens to have some knowledge of the Holy Bible, he wears a suit and tie, however, he isn't someone who is honest. Think of someone who teaches history, but it has nothing to do with who he is. Roland Rasmussen Junior does seem like a kind person, however, Roland Rasmussen Junior isn't someone who is honest, and it's fairly simple, he is a person who doesn't like his wife and likes other girls. Tim, John, Stephanie, and Pastor Emeritus are not good people to be aware of who Roland is and only make it a family issue that Stephanie has to deal with. If a young person made a funny face to Roland, his response isn't something that is normal, he doesn't just speak to them about what Jesus Christ would want them to do, Roland Rasmussen Junior has a hatred for opposition and will lie to pretend he does not. I am giving these details because I don't want anyone sending their kids to this school. Many of the teachers are wonderful people, however, Roland Rasmussen Junior is such a bad person, that sending your kids to this school is not a good idea. Also, I don't think the demerit system is a bad idea. A person who believes in God doesn't lie. Roland Rasmussen Junior didn't get this job from credentials, this is a family job, and his family deals with this, knowing how he is. Roland Rasmussen Junior is principal because of the image, of him having been principal, and his family not knowing how people will react to him not being principal. He is nothing more than a full-time day camp councilor. Everything else aside, nobody in my family reads the Holy Bible, however, my family does believe in God, and my family are people who do not lie. I read the Holy Bible more than my entire family put together times 1000, however, they are honest people. The Rasmussen family has become a family of liars, because of Roland, not because of Tim or John. If anyone is thinking, "who does this?", the answer is everything here for you to read. I think every detail is necessary. Roland Rasmussen, in the lives of young adults, pokes a situation, then runs around the corner, however that is not what he actually does. Nothing he does makes sense for closure or for people having faith. What is the worst question to ask about Roland, Tim? You know the answer, "Why would Roland lie, what does he get from lying?" Someone with small man syndrome is obsessed with the need to be seen as reasonable, and will lie to protect that, and proof is simple. The person who pretends that speaking to someone will be the end of the world as we know it, may just be the person who is lying, from what I understand about life. Jesus Christ wants a fair trial. Me and my two brothers went to this school for over ten years. If you would like to contact me about the actual trial, you can call me anytime.

Andrew, we have only fond memories of your time at Faith Baptist during elementary and junior high school, all those years ago! So we were surprised to read your reviews. We’re troubled that you’ve made these false allegations without any proof. But based on what you’ve described here, it’s also apparent that life has brought you challenges that we cannot begin to understand. For that, we are truly sorry. During his 18 years as our elementary principal, Roland Rasmussen has earned a reputation for kindness. He strongly believes everyone should be treated with respect. He and everyone at Faith Baptist are committed to providing a nurturing environment that encourages a love of learning, a sense of responsibility, and an appreciation of the Word of God. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rasmussen want you to know that they love you and your family, and wish the very best for your future. Their door is always open if you want to reach out to them.

Roland Rasmussen Junior is a bully, part time, with children, if no one is watching, known as "small man syndrome" if "lack of respect" occurs. Small man syndrome has many different forms, and, for instance, indirectly implying "holier than though" or "personal benefit of the doubt" having his job, may be something reasonable, and may be subtly implied, by Roland, through how he breaks down certain details. Giving people the runaround, during confrontation, disagreements, or informing someone relative to a dilemma, happens to also be something that comes from small man syndrome. It is something that is embedded in the "soul" so to speak, and is something that can start in childhood, where Roland's personal case with small man syndrome may have started. Denial of realism comes from small man syndrome as well, such as, Roland not believing that a lie detector will happen, and doesn't realize that my personal witness, of how he assaulted that young girl years ago, will be enough. When Roland reads this, within 12 hours, he will have a hatred, by which he would want me dead actually, killed and gone forever, mentally, which is also a part of small man syndrome. Roland presents himself the same way any person would, who is the person I am implying he is, don't lie to yourself, if you are reading this, and doubting it because of how much I am explaining. Tim, for instance, knows Roland is a liar, and a pervert kind of person, however he thinks Roland is not bad, because he contrasts his brother to the lost generation, meaning, he subconsciously thinks that the world is so much worse, that there is a 1 in 100 chance or 1 in 1000 chance that he doesn't go to paradise. If a pastor ever wasn't right with God, it's Tim, knowing who Roland is. Other churches don't deal with this, Tim, just thought I should mention. Roland Rasmussen Junior, why aren't boys obsessed with bullying boys? Why aren't kids obsessed with getting bad grades? Why aren't kids obsessed with being late to class? You're going to prison, Roland Rasmussen Junior. On a public perspective, when known, and not just by people who are intimated by a church, everything that Roland Rasmussen says, in his subtle voice isn't someone who is humble, it's a premeditated perspective on how to speak around a school. Roland Rasmussen will be standing in court soon. Why is that I'm putting this here for all of you to see? I am obligated, knowing who Roland Rasmussen Junior is to do this. Take the basis of my implication, and you'll understand. I am looking back in life to do this, but I have to. I can't say that this incident gets me stressed to the point where cluster attacks happen more often, because though that is true, it isn't necessarily true, it's something that is unexpected. Roland Rasmussen's hatred for people who don't agree with him and tell him they don't is more important than the integrity of the school. A wise man once said that hatred shows that you are still thinking about something, that you don't mind thinking about it. Roland Rasmussen isn't someone who believes, it's just a history book and his job. I don't dislike people for not thinking how I think of the Holy Bible, and I'm not implying this school does. Roland Rasmussen Junior, however, will be in court, in regards to me, for defamation, double-dealing, and harassment. For what he did years ago, with a lie detector, he will be in prison for years. This last part is for his family. I love you all more than Roland does. I love every one of you more than he does, and he knows it. Roland Rasmussen Junior will be in a courtroom. Me doing this takes no time, and answering your questions takes less time. He doesn't care if you all regret. Roland Rasmussen Junior has my phone number, my email address, and is aware of these reviews, and I emailed him to get my information to Tim or John. Tim or John can call me anytime. I apologize if I am repetitive, however, this is for parents.

Lastly, to finally clarify my point, aside from the upcoming court case. A hired hand for the school, who would abide by the demerit system, which I agree with, and be obligated to speak to boys and girls at times, wouldn't act like that person does. Roland Rasmussen Junior has personal agendas, outside of what is reasonable, to satisfy an interest, within the young adults scene. Why isn't Tim like that? Why isn't John like that? Why isn't Mr. Melton like that? Why aren't any of you like that, those who are reading this, who are Christian men or not? If you forget the school and his job, and see him in a white shirt and jeans, as the courtroom sees everyone, then it's immediately real to you that this person thinks life is a series of obsessions, as he pronounces. Roland told a young man, who writes Christian music, "your obsession with the girl needs to end, and your obsession needs to be with Jesus Christ." That's a very intrusive thing to say to someone, and actually by itself, could be a personal lawsuit for damages to an individuals psyche. Roland Rasmussen has the knowledge of a 1st grader, and his schooling after high school could be studied by anyone in a 30 day quick program in administration. If you remember the Penn state case, the school didn't get compromised for it, so don't think this is such a drastic thing, it isn't. Roland Rasmussen Junior cannot be around children anymore. He is in his mid 50's, has a depressed wife, and kids. Roland Rasmussen cannot take insults, and will give a subtle hunch, being a lie, against someone's character, or, possibly just lie altogether. He sees children as little liars, but a real man should see them as learning. A good amount of the people at that school take bi-polar drugs, by the way, when all they have is dehydration headaches. I've been a cluster attack patient for over a year, and without my knowledge of hell, I would have killed myself by now. The people at this school are wicked people.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

To respond to the other review, I can only say that this former student obviously is bitter about any type of authority figure and structure in her life and dealing with a bit of a rebellious attitude and has an obvious lack of respect for anything that could give true guidance. Everything her review states I would consider completely false. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to any parent or student of any faith. My daughter is in her second year at Faith Baptist and I have many friends who have had their children in school there from K4-12th grade and do not attend the church, some of them are Catholic and some of them are Buddhists and they have had nothing but great things to say about the school, which is why we m oved our daughter there. Their curriculum and structure are unsurpassed and encourage individual growth and development and learning. I have seen an amazing change in my child since she has been attending Faith Baptist, she is much more calm and well-behaved and is always excited to learn new things and looks forward to school. As a parent, it is such a comfort to send your child to a school where the teachers want the best for your child and provide them with the encouragement, warmth and love that children of all ages need, this has helped my daughter develop a strong sense of self and worth while and the confidence that I would’ve only dreamed of seeing from her before. They do include wonderful Christian, Bible-based values and morals that you don’t find anywhere else, but they don’t shove it down your throat or damn you to hell. They always make you feel included. Again, I would HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone and I would suggest checking out the school for yourself and you will see what I mean…just an amazing environment.

Do not send your children here

As an 8yr former student of this school, I urge anyone that cares about their child's emotional, spiritual, and intellectual development to not attend Faith Baptist... or their church services. Although they try to make sure children have a good "base" education in English and math, excelling in academics will come easily to anyone who can memorize. The majority of lessons involve memorizing facts with little to no real explanations. Many times children were discouraged and/or scolded for asking critical-thinking questions. This school teaches little to no critical thinking skills and even fewer truly creative projects. The science that I learned there was ludicrous. On top of that, the "spiritual" messages that were sent to us were all based on fear, damnation, and shame. Many of my former classmates left that school with utterly low self-esteem and a distorted value of self-worth.
