Canby High School addresses the needs of talented and gifted students through a variety of programs. It offers more than 20 academic courses and over 10 technical and professional courses. It also offers advanced-placement classes in writing, literature, history and government. Additionally, the school provides an opportunity to apply and extend academic and career-related knowledge and skills through senior projects, internships, documented credit experiences, job shadows and service-learning experiences. Located in Canby, Ore., the school has teams in sports, such as hockey, soccer, basketball, wrestling, football, swimming, tennis, cross country, golf and track. Canby High School has a key club that serves the community through various services. The school also has an associated students body that plans assemblies and school activities.
