I called Dave's to rent a cargo van to move some things out of my storage space. The rate I was charged was double was I was quoted. Please review your contract carefully if you rent from Dave's.

I am editing this review because Dave's contacted me and adjusted the price to what was originally quoted. It turns out the overcharge was a mistake. I appreciate that Dave's reached out to me and corrected the problem. They are an outstanding business and I will return to Dave's next time I need a rental car!

had an excellent experience with Dave. I wanted to pick up my girlfriend from the airport in something stylish and tour through Amador and see my parents. I was initially looking near the airport at hertz and enterprise for a convertible or something fun and was surprised to find that Dave's was far better price for a far better car, even with hertz having a AAA discount. I got the BMW 335 coupe with AWD for a very competitive price and couldn't be happier with all the details that made for an all around great experience, both with the car and with the service.



examples were how the car was very clean and felt new (even with 30k). Dave went out of his way to be friendly and though I used a debit card only held reasonable deposit. my insurance transferred over so that kept costs down, and he didn't try to sell me anything else. I went over the mileage allowance and he didn't charge me much for it, and I even forgot to fill the tank before returning it and he charged me market value of the fuel (Hertz or enterprise would have reamed me, been there)



was out the door fast and returning it was very quick.



It was overall a very positive experience and would rent with Dave's again anytime.

Now I want to buy that beamer, it ruined me for my own car :(

THEY WERE FANTASTIC! No one else was open on the Saturday I needed to rent a car cause mine was in the shop! I called and the nice gentleman made me feel like i was his best friend, he held a car for me at no cost. Once i got there i noticed it was a young man at the counter and he quickly got all my info and rented me a car cheaper than anyone else! He was very sweet and the car was super clean. I know I will be back!

These guys are great!!!! I have rented from them over the years. They are very professional and will go that extra mile. Their prices are best I have found in El Dorado County.

I rented a Camero SS from Dave's Rent-A-Car for my senior ball. The service was great. the price was fair, and the quality of the car was fantastic as well. It was such a great experience to rent an awesome car to take to my senior ball and show off to my classmates. Opportunities like this are once in a lifetime so I would recommend renting from Dave's Rent-A-Car, especially for occasions such as dances, company picnics, or road trips. Dave's cars are all high quality, the workers are professional and will offer great deals for renting their cars.

When I showed up at another rental company to pick up the SUV I had reserved, I was told that they didn't have it and tried to switch me to an old sedan. I called Dave's and not only did they have one, but it was CHEAPER! I rented the Platinum Edition Sequoia and boy was that a nice car! DVD, Nav, Leather... everything. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience at Dave's.

Resently we found ourselfs in a spot!! My sons (under 21) car was hit by a driver covered by AAA. We could not get a rental company to rent him a car. Daves rent a car was the only car company in El Dorado county that would help us!!!
