I, being the big lug I am, put my antique gold pocket watch into the washer, with warm water and not thinking that was enough, I then threw it into the dryer, on high! Hearing a thud with every rotation, I check the dryer only to find my beautiful watch, in a totL mess, the glass crystal was in several pieces, the minute hand was missing! I checked the net to see what to do and it said to open it up and put a hair dryer to it to dry the water up, and this I did. I then took it to a guy in South Thomaston to be repaired , after getting the run around for six weeks I got my watch back and took it to the "watch repair center", let me tell you folks, there folks are as professional as they come, she opened the case and just looking at it, she told me of all the damage that had been done, to include the rust from sitting on a bench for six weeks. She told me it would take a couple weeks and true to her word, a couple weeks later I picked up my now new looking watch, she had to take parts from other watches because new parts were not available. So I broke the crystal, several jewels that were smashed! . I can not express how happy I am with the service I received here in Camden at the Watch repair center! Amazing service and even more amazing craftsman ship! You will not be disappointed with your work being done here!
