I Have Been At Jimmie And Sook...

I Have Been At Jimmie And Sook’s On Several Occasions To Conduct Business But I Never Had The Pleasure Of Dining Here. I Am Now Retired And When I Go SomeWhere I Can Stop When I Want. Jimmie And Sook’s Was 1st On My List. On Friday Dec 28 I Stopped In With My Wife & Mother In Law. My Wife Had Shrimp Salad & FF’s. Which Seemed To Have Won Over 2 Other Choices, Some Kind Of Pizza Of The Day With Goat Cheese Or A CrabCake. My Mother In Law Ordered Louise’s CrabCake But When She Went To The Head We UpGraded It To A Hoytee-Toytee CrabCake & ColeSlaw. I Ordered The Sook Chicken With Fat Fries & Gravy. We Had The Jimmie Bites For An Appitizer. My Wife Was Very Pleased With Her Choice. My Mother In Law Said Her CrabCake Was The BEST She Has Ever Had (She Is 86). Words Like That Don’t Easily Fall From Her Mouth. Both Cleaned Their Plates And That Don’t Happen Much At A Restaurant. When I Got My Sook Chicken, I Took The CrabCake Off The Top And Placed It Away For SafeKeeping And Consumption At The End Of This Amazing Meal. The Fries Were Better Than Thrasher’s, Most Folks Around Here Think They’re The Best. The Portions Were Plentiful And Presentation Was DownRight Exceptional. The Waitress, Chelsea Was Absolutely Tremendous Her Attentiveness Was A 15 On A Scale Of 1-10. At The End As We Were Leaving She Informed Us Of Local Shoppes To Visit, As Well As Some Local History. I Recommend Jimmie And Sook’s To AnyOne That Goes To A Restaurant, Especially If Your Within 50 Miles of Cambridge.

A great little place for lunch and dinner (now serving breakfast, too, I think). The staff is friendly and prompt. The food is great. Best of all is the choices you have, from sandwiches to big dinners. I personally like the crab dip and the blackened tuna sandwich but it's one of the few places where I don't always get the same thing. Convenient parking. Fair prices.

My favorite stop in Cambridge

Where to start? Great staff, wonderful decor, interesting menu full of fresh, local seafood, best fries this side of the boardwalk, live music most evenings, crab feast on Sundays. A really nice feature of this airy, bright restaurant is that it has space for families and large groups to gather comfortably in the back, cozy booths along the side and a really nice bar in the front. I'm not one to hang around after a meal, but I could at this place. And did I mention that the food is really good too?
