John Harvard s Brew House was voted the College Bar of the Month by Playboy. The microbrewery has a host of ales that range from American light lager to roasted Dry Irish Stout. The bar and grill also offers seasonal brews. Several brews available have won awards at various beer festivals. The establishment and Harvard University are named after the same person. The eatery has lunch and dinner menus with starters, such as Pollo salsa, Asian crispadillas, New England clam chowder and seasonal salads. The entrees include roasted cod, grilled filet mignon of beef and beef medallions with stuffed shrimp. Traditional American cuisine, such as assortments of hamburgers and chicken breast sandwiches, also line the menu. John Harvard s Brew House has several locations in the Eastern United States, including the one close to Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass.
