The care I received at CEDC jump-started a full-recovered life far beyond my expectations. Strongly consider CEDC if you want to be inspired and well equipped to live a full life after your eating disorder.

This place has its ups and downs but everywhere does. I've been to three eating disorder clinics. This being the third and last. It really helped me and was worth every penny and every mile traveled (I live in North Carolina)! I think about this institution almost every day. At the time, it didn't seem like it helped much and I ended up leaving after five weeks. But when I look back it really did shape me as a person. I am in recovery now from anorexia. I also decided to go back to college and study biology pre-medicine which has always been a suppressed dream of mine. I didn't think I was worth being a doctor but CEDC gave me the tools to combat those cognitive distortions. If I ever need help again with my eating disorder I will for sure go back here! To any staff reading this, thank you =)
