When our grandmothers needed to attend to the bumps, bruises, fever and others illness their families suffered, they didn’t have a corner drugstore. Instead these good women relied on simple wisdom, common sense, and pantries well stocked with herbal remedies. With a few exceptions, these herbal remedies were made from plants and herbs that grew in the kitchen garden or were gathered in the fields and woods surrounding their homes. There is a growing awareness of the importance of returning to the use of whole foods and healthy herbs into our modern lives. This site is my expression of love to all who want a preventive way in healing the whole body. It is my passion to preserve the knowledge of my grandmother and your grandmother for the future generations. It is grounded in my desire to explore the natural world of plants and live a simpler and healthier life.
