Dr. Barte takes the time needed to listen to her patients. She is kind and caring. She prescribed medication that has been a great help for me. Her staff is professional and helpful. There is a psychologist in the office as well who works with Dr. Barte and I felt a true team effort on my behalf.

Dr. Barte is the absolute best psychiatrist I have ever met or heard of. Most psychiatrists pathologize human suffering. NOT Dr. Barte! She is brilliant in her field, proficient, caring (regardless of the patient's circumstances). Other psychiatrists belittle patients, over medicate them, and relish a "power-over" relationship with patients. NOT Dr. Barte! I SINCERELY and ENTHUSIASTICALLY recommend Dr. Barte to anyone who is struggling with quality of life issues, regardless of the degree of suffering. She's the best psychiatrist in the United States. Weather your needs are short term or long term, Dr. Barte is adept at identifying the best course of treatment.
