My dad was a car guy, but used Chuck for major work. Since Dad's death, my mother has relied on Chuck, and he's been wonderful to her, doing good quality work, and saving her a lot of money compared to other shops. Chuck is an honest, trustworthy, helpful Christian gentleman.

I found Nix Automotive here on yellowpages.com. Read the reviews and gave it a shot. I agree with the other two. The man there is honest and great. He saved me about $200 dollars compared to several other estimates I had from shops in Calhoun. My dad can't do this stuff for me any more because of his health, but he drove my car after the man at Nix's fixed it and dad told me to keep going there and that the Nix's have a very good reputation.

I called and spoke with Chuck, he was extreamly helpful and sincere. I felt comfortable talking to him and I plan to continue using Nix Automotive.

I was in a bad situation where I had allow a shadetree mechanic to change my brake pads. Well, come to find out that I didn't need my brakes changed but in the process of him trying to take off my wheel we found out the hard way that my lug nuts had been tighten too tight and well he didn't have the tools to fix the problem and expected me to drive on a loose wheel because my lugs were stripped. I was at the Auto Zone in Calhoun and one of the nice men there called Nix Automotive. It was on a Saturday and he was closing up for the day, but when he got the call he came right away and assesed the situation and offer to help. It took longer than expected to fix the problem, approx. 5 hrs. But he was such a nice and caring person and saw that I was in distress, that he actually under charged me for the whole job and I was able to get my car fix and get to work and not lose my job. I will never forget what he did for me and you can best believe I will only be going to him to get my brakes worked on from now on. He did an exceptional job, above and beyond the call of duty.
