To be honest 2&1/2 years ago I refused to go in there after too mmany things to list now but the cashiers were lazy and rude and the store manager was always standing right out in front chain smoking and IN CLEAR VIEW - 2 ft away of hundreds of 12ft long 3 inch wide cob webs and bug nests with Huge spiders and other insects crawled in them , they hung from the awning roof down to right in your face and hair , causing you to weave to avoid a mouth full while only entering the store, he saw this every day for Years but not once thought it warranted attention? cleaning? But that was before, 2&1/2 yrs ago the New Store Manager who is still there now cleaned that place up from spider web to the dust and filth on everything that got in your nostrils and all over your hands. Meal moths everywhere, nothing you were looking for ever got put away, to the bad employees and waiting 30 min in line, To now It is an entirely different place . I wish i had before and after pictures because amazing doesn't get the point across enough to clearly express the level of change this Manager has miraculously accomplished but it is AMAZINLY cleaned up, My friends pass 3 other DG stores to shop there. It's a shame corporate must just ignore it, because it deserves recognition! I hear the employees that work there get recognition From the Manager, but i asked her , When was the last time she had a pat on the back and her answer was : " My Pat on the back happens when my customers tell me driving past their local store to come here is worth it because we are the best, It tells me I am doing something right!". I told her she deserved better from Her employer! CORPORATE TAKE CARE OF YOUR GOOD PEOPLE!! It's that easy, it would attract better candidates , and veteran employees to become loyal!
